Like their own parents, most 7th and 8th graders are thinking about college. But no matter how much they want to achieve such goals, they may not make the necessary preparations to do it. A recent national survey concluded that 92% of 7th and 8th grade students have said that they want to pursue college education, but 68% of them said they have very little information about which classes they need to take to prepare for it.

Seventh-and-eighth graders who are serious about going to college will want to think about the classes that will prepare for them. Most students plan to take classes for the SAT Jr., which is similar in many ways to the regular SAT. However, there are a few noticeable differences. Unlike the SAT, SAT Jr. has a far more expansive coverage in reading comprehension, writing and most especially, mathematics. SAT Jr. tutors focus on helping students review, especially in math concepts students found to be difficult.
